Moreton cum Alcumlow is a small civil parish in Cheshire East, Cheshire, England. In the 2021 census it had a population of 155. The main settlement in the parish is the small village of Ackers Crossing. The parish also includes Alcumlow Hall and Great Moreton Hall. (Little Moreton Hall is in the adjacent civil parish of Odd Rode.)
Governance
There are two tiers of local government covering Moreton cum Alcumlow, at parish and unitary authority level: Newbold Astbury cum Moreton Parish Council, and Cheshire East Council. The parish council is a grouped parish council, also covering the neighbouring parish of Newbold Astbury. The two parishes have been grouped under a single parish council since 1975.
