Melanie Moore is an American women's basketball coach who is the current assistant head coach at Michigan. She previously served as the head coach at Xavier.
Coaching career
Michigan
In 2012, Moore was named an assistant coach at Michigan. On May 18, 2018, she was promoted to associate head coach under head coach Kim Barnes Arico.
On March 30, 2023, Moore returned to Michigan as an assistant coach.
Xavier
On April 5, 2019, Moore was named head coach at Xavier. She replaced Brian Neal who stepped down as head coach of the program at the end of the 2018–19 season.
Personal life
Moore is married to her husband Joe, they have two children, Tristin and Ayla.
