Canadian film director

Laurence Lévesque is a Canadian film director from Quebec. She is most noted as a two-time Prix Iris nominee for Best Short Documentary, receiving nods at the 23rd Quebec Cinema Awards in 2021 for Homeport (Port d'attache) and at the 26th Quebec Cinema Awards in 2024 for Perséides.

Her first feature documentary, Okurimono, was released in 2024. The film, about a Japanese Canadian woman returning home to Japan to clear out her mother's home in Nagasaki after her mother's death, went into production in 2022 under the working title Mama no himitsu.
