Ladies First is an upcoming American comedy film for Netflix directed by Thea Sharrock. It is loosely inspired by the Eleonore Pourriat 2018 French film Je Ne Suis Pas Un Homme Facile. It has an ensemble cast featuring Sacha Baron Cohen, Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Emily Mortimer, Charles Dance, Fiona Shaw, Tom Davis and Weruche Opia.
Premise
A male chauvinist finds himself in an alternate world where the power dynamics of society are altered.

Production
The film is loosely inspired by the Eleonore Pourriat directed French film I Am Not an Easy Man (Je Ne Suis Pas Un Homme Facile in French). It is scripted by Katie Silberman and Natalie Krinsky and directed by Thea Sharrock. It is produced by Liza Chasin of 3dot Productions, under her creative partnership with Netflix. Eleonore Dailly, Edouard de Lachomette and Four By Two Films are also producing the film. The cast is led by Sacha Baron Cohen and Rosamund Pike with Richard E. Grant, Emily Mortimer, Charles Dance, Fiona Shaw, Tom Davis and Weruche Opia in supporting roles.
Filming began in November 2024, taking place primarily at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, England. The production is expected to run through January 2025. Filming locations also included Hampstead.
