Jack Lausch is an American college football quarterback for the Northwestern Wildcats.

Early life

Lausch attended Brother Rice High School in Chicago, Illinois. As a senior, he threw for 2,447 yards and 20 touchdowns and rushed for 1,084 yards and 21 touchdowns. Coming out of high school, Lausch was rated as a three-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Northwestern Wildcats.

College career

As a freshman in 2022, Lausch played in just one game where he completed four of eight pass attempts for 68 yards and an interception. In 2023, he played in ten games where he completed two of his three passes for ten yards, while rushing 19 times for 80 yards and a touchdown, and hauling in two receptions for nine yards. Heading into week 3 of the 2024 season, Lausch was named the Wildcats starting quarterback. That week against Eastern Illinois, he threw for 227 yards and two touchdowns and rushed seven times for 62 yards in a 31–7 win.
