Chicomurex laciniatus, common name the laciniated murex, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.
Description
Chicomurex laciniatus is characterized by its large, robust shell with an elongated, spiny appearance. The surface of the shell features prominent, sharp spines and a series of frilled, lacerate edges. The shell's color varies, typically ranging from pale cream to light brown, often with darker markings and a slightly glossy texture. The aperture of the shell is narrow and elongated, with a thickened outer lip. The size of an adult shell varies between 30 mm and 77 mm.

Distribution
This marine species is found off the Philippines and Northern Queensland, Australia.
